A Pen Flourish in the language of illuminated manuscripts is an initial letter or some other decorative element that has been rendered beautifully in colored inks—blues, violets, or greens—and decorated with delicate geometric or floral motifs. Our Pen Flourish line is about writing beautifully, and contains our romance and erotic fiction.

Works of mythic fiction allow us to explore characters who live in two places at once, where what is and what is not have blurred together to create some place made even stranger by the juxtaposition of normal things with the unreal.

The Pen Flourish romance is one that combines mythic elements with a compelling love story we can’t stop reading. Our romances may be fade-to-black or sexually explicit, but they are always true to the genre and end with a happily-ever-after or happy-for-now ending between two or more people, regardless of sexual orientation.

Erotica is a way to deconstruct the boundary between the public and private selves, and to dig deeper into who and what we are.  It explores, highlights, and sometimes celebrates our humanity.  Our erotica contains complex and compelling characters who are engaged in explorations of relationships, power, and human strengths and weaknesses. It does not require a happily ever after ending, only a beautifully rendered story.
